Wow, I should truly try to be more up to date when it comes to journals, it's been months! On the other hand, I am enjoying the Holiday Break with my family after completing a semester at college. Home is simpler in a lot of ways, and has a lot more quiet moments, but I love it because it's where my family is. I really missed staying in sync with the happenings at home, especially when I would find out one of my siblings had a competition or  important school extracurricular activity. Another fact I didn't realize until after I left home is how much I missed yard work! On campus there is no need to cut wood for fire or mow the grass or even

I am officially leaving home and moving into a dorm on August 13th. I'm excited, but at the same time I feel sick in a stomach churning sort of way. One of my siblings will be moving into my old room when I go. I still have to pack things away in boxes and sort out what goes in storage, comes with me, or to throw out. This will be hard. However, change is good, right?

Alright, this is my first journal entry. Hu-rah! So, I guess this is where we're supposed to rant about ourselves and whatnot? Because I'm drawing a blank... I suppose I could just start with my likes and hobbies? That seems safe enough.
